Dr. Michael Chafin
Dr. Michael Chafin grew up in Louisiana and Oklahoma. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Zoology, he went on to earn his DVM from Oklahoma State University. After building a large, 5 doctor practice in the Dallas area, Dr. Mike is excited to open ChafinVet and raise his family in Minnesota. In addition to preventative and wellness veterinary care, he is highly experienced in urgent and well care, as well as surgery and performs many elective and non-elective procedures.

Dr. Laurel Bauer Chafin
Dr. Laurel Bauer Chafin is from Eagan, Minnesota. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma summa cum laude with a B.S. in Zoology / Biomedical Sciences and Astrophysics is 2007, Dr. Laurel earned her DVM from Oklahoma State in 2011. In addition to wellness and preventative veterinary care, Dr. Laurel is highly experienced with internal medicine, urgent care, surgery and ultrasonography. After building a large 5 doctor practice in the Dallas area, Dr. Laurel is very excited to get back home to Minnesota to open ChafinVet and raise her family here.

Dr. Paige Campe – Lead Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Paige earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023 and previously graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with her clients and partnering with pet owners to provide comprehensive preventive care that helps animals live long, healthy lives.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Paige enjoys spending time with her horse and riding whenever she can. A devoted animal lover, she shares her home with three cats, two parrots, two dogs, and one horse. Her favorite dog breed is the Chihuahua, known for its big personality and loyal nature.
Dr. Paige is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care for every patient and strives to make each visit a positive experience for both pets and their families.
