Dr. Michael Chafin
Dr. Michael Chafin grew up in Louisiana and Oklahoma. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Zoology, he went on to earn his DVM from Oklahoma State University. After building a large, 5 doctor practice in the Dallas area, Dr. Mike is excited to open ChafinVet and raise his family in Minnesota. In addition to preventative and wellness veterinary care, he is highly experienced in urgent and well care, as well as surgery and performs many elective and non-elective procedures.

Pets- Griswold, a 2 year old rescued Lab x Goldedoodle mix and Dougal the Basset Hound.
Dr. Laurel Bauer Chafin
Dr. Laurel Bauer Chafin is from Eagan, Minnesota. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma summa cum laude with a B.S. in Zoology / Biomedical Sciences and Astrophysics is 2007, Dr. Laurel earned her DVM from Oklahoma State in 2011. In addition to wellness and preventative veterinary care, Dr. Laurel is highly experienced with internal medicine, urgent care, surgery and ultrasonography. After building a large 5 doctor practice in the Dallas area, Dr. Laurel is very excited to get back home to Minnesota to open ChafinVet and raise her family here.
